The Holley Terminator X is a standalone engine management system designed for use with high performance vehicles. This system is fully programmable and comes with a user-friendly handheld interface for easy on the go changes. The system is also quite known for it's "self-tuning" capabilities. It comes with a wideband oxygen sensor for adjusting fuel to a targeted Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR), which the computer learns and saves to the computers fuel tables. 
In addition to it's self-tuning capabilities, the system also allows for numerous inputs and outputs for various sensors and solenoids on performance applications. This Terminator X also has a version named Terminator X max which allows for control of automatic transmissions.

Can I use E85 with a Holley Terminator X?

Yes, the supplied Wideband Sensor is E85 compatible and the Holley Terminator X has multiple options for fuel types. It also has inputs to allow for a fuel composition sensor to monitor the fuel's alcohol content which will allow for a Flex Fuel setup. You can also fine tune the system with multiple advanced tables based on alcohol content.

Should I get a Holley Terminator X?

In my opinion, yes. Even stock applications can benefit from having a Holley EFI system. Stock/slightly modified engines in classic cars benefit from the accuracy and ease of use of the system. It's faster and offers more control over the engine with a more cost effective tuning process than the OEM computer. Heavy or mild performance modifications benefits from this system the most though and there is no denying that. The system also has a data logger that can be reviewed to review passes or diagnose symptoms and conditions that you might be experiencing. 

How much does Holley Terminator X cost?

The Holley Terminator system cost does vary. For a common port injection setup the average cost of the system is about $1,250. For a TBI system you're looking at about $1,700. The TBI system comes with it's own throttle body that comes with fuel injectors, that is the reason for the extra cost. The Holley Terminator X Max system goes for around $1,600.
