Port Injection vs Direct Injection

Image
Port Injection vs Direct Injection Port Injection  Better known as Multi Port Fuel Injection (MPFI),  is a fuel delivery system in which fuel is injected into the engine through multiple ports or injectors, rather than a single central location. This allows for more precise control of the fuel-air mixture entering the engine, resulting in improved combustion and increased engine efficiency. It is most commonly used in modern gasoline engines, but can also be found in diesel engines and alternative fuel vehicles. Direct Injection Direct injection is a fuel delivery system in which fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, rather than the intake manifold or port. This allows for more precise control of the fuel-air mixture entering the engine, resulting in improved combustion and increased engine efficiency. Direct injection can also increase the compression ratio of the engine, further improving efficiency. It is commonly used...
